Welcome!
This blog has been set up to give information and as a contact point for, our Lakes Entrance Knit N Crochet group charity work. We donate our items to Lakes Entrance and Bairnsdale Community Houses, for distribution in our local communities.
We gather once a month at Lakes Entrance Community House, in Heatherlea Grove, Lakes Entrance to knit (or crochet) and chat over a cup of tea or coffee, and always with some "goodies" supplied by the lovely ladies at the House.
What kind of items do we donate? All our items are hand knitted or crochet, and include blankets from Adult size to baby, gloves, scarves, children's jumpers, baby clothes, cowls and beanies. Anything really that someone in need might find comforting and useful. We even make toys!
Everyone is welcome to join us - you don't have to create for Charity, just bring your knitting or crochet and come for a chat. You are also very welcome to join our Facebook Group - Lakes Entrance Knit N Crochet to share your projects, ask questions, find some patterns and good advice. A few laughs along the way as well!
