Items to knit for charity
There are a few items to knit for charity that we can never seem to get enough of.
- Beanies
- Fingerless Gloves
- Scarves
- Tiny Toys/Trauma Teddies
- Adult Size blankets - especially for the homeless and in muted/dark colors.
In view of this, we will be putting together a number of patterns that provide a basis to get you started on these type of items. We will post the patterns here on the site, but if you need printed copies, please let us know. If you are able to print from the site, please feel free to do so, if you are unable to print, we can supply the printed versions, but please remember they cost Admin personally to supply!
Thank you so much to the very generous people who help us with supplies, and to the lovely ladies who give of their time and talent to create wonderful knitted items that are distributed by Neighbourhood House here in Lakes Entrance.
It is the aim of this group to provide hand knitted, or crochet items, where ever there is a need, specifically in our local area.
