We had a lovely afternoon at the Lakes Entrance Bowls Club for our first Knit In Public day. Nine of us attended, and spent a couple of hours sitting, knitting, crocheting, and chatting over coffee. Lots of laughter and good companionship. Thank you so much to the lovely ladies who joined me today - YOU are what makes this group happen!
The staff of the Club made us very welcome - despite our changing from one table to another - they were very helpful and tolerant! I have to say that no matter which group I am with, when we go to the Club we are always made to feel like we have "come home". Staff always greet us, stop for a chat at our table, and go out of their way to make our time with them pleasant and relaxing.
