Hi Everyone!!
Just a quick update here. I am so proud of the lovely ladies who knit and crochet for Knit For Charity here in Lakes Entrance. A small but multi-talented group - so far this year we have created:
15 blankets
23 knee rugs
14 scarves
142 beanies
187 pairs of gloves
2 shawls
17 cowls
1 child's jumper
And due to the hard work of the same group of ladies - we held a stash of items waiting for donation. As of today we have donated - to our local Neighbourhood House:
20 blankets
110 pairs of gloves
60 beanies
36 teddies and small toys
My personal thanks to each and every one of you who knit and/or crochet such amazingly beautiful items. My dream of supporting those less fortunate in our little town has become a reality by your generosity.
And not forgetting those who have donated money, supplies, and yarn for us during the year. We are so grateful for the support, and the fact that by your giving we have been able to create so many more warm items for donation. Thank you!
