Knit and Natter Sessions for August/September 2023

 

·        Please note: These dates and times are subject to change for various reasons, always check on the Group Page before attending a meeting.  Announcements will be made there.  As a general guide – the first Wednesday of each month will be at the Library and the last Wednesday of each month will be luncheon at the RSL (by invitation only). The Wednesdays in between will be at the RSL Recreation Room.

 

AUGUST 2023

 

Wednesday August 23^rd  -  RSL Recreation Room 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Wednesday August 30^th – Luncheon at the RSL Bistro – 11:30 – 1:00 pm

·        Followed by a regular Knit and Natter Session at the RSL Recreation Room from 1:00 pm

SEPTEMBER 2023

 

Wednesday 6^th  – Lakes Entrance Library – 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Wednesday 13^th  - RSL recreation Room – 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Wednesday 20^th - RSL recreation Room – 1:00 – 4:00 pm

Wednesday 27^th - – Luncheon at the RSL Bistro – 11:30 – 1:00 pm

·        Followed by a regular Knit and Natter Session at the RSL Recreation Room from 1:00 pm

Please note:  As the luncheons are by invitation only – you will need to respond to the invitation that will be sent via the group page.

Anyone is welcome to drop in to the Library and just relax and do a bit of knitting!  There is a “project basket” there with an ongoing project you are very welcome to contribute to, or just bring your own knitting and sit for a bit! Never know who you might meet there! Helps to keep our library open!

The Recreation Room at the RSL is in the middle court with the pool in front. Door entry from either side of the pool.

NOTE:  Please do not park in the motel area – there is a public parking area at the end of the driveway just before Marine Parade. (Quite close to where the Rec Room is so a short walk away)   The RSL has requested that we park in this area so as not to inconvenience motel patrons.  There is also adequate parking in the street in front of the RSL or the car park opposite.   If you are being dropped off, your driver may bring you to the Recreation room, but not park in this area.

 

I do ask that you comply with this request regarding parking.  We are not paying for the use of the Recreation Room, and I feel it is up to us to show respect by doing what we are asked to do.  The public car park is not that far away, so it’s only a matter of a few extra steps. 

 

For the Knit and Natter sessions at the RSL Recreation Room – please bring your own tea/coffee/Chai and a snack to share with everyone.  The Room has a kettle/Urn and cups, a microwave and a fridge.   I will bring milk and sugar for each session.
